Sylvania Dog Park Rules
Be Kind and Respectful: Please be considerate and respectful at all times.
Leash Policy: Leash your dogs when entering and leaving the park. Carry a leash with you at all times.
Prohibited Items: Smoking, vaping, food, drugs, alcohol, weapons, and personal dog toys (which may trigger aggression) are not allowed.
Health and Vaccination Requirements: All dogs must be legally licensed, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Female dogs in heat are not allowed.
Membership Requirement: An active Sylvania Dog Park membership is required. Non-member dogs are not permitted.
Waste Cleanup: Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste in designated containers.
Damage to Park Grounds: Hole digging is prohibited. Owners must repair any damage their dog causes to the park.
Age of Dogs: Dogs must be at least 6 months old.
Dog Limit: A maximum of 2 dogs per handler at any time.
Restricted Access: Only dogs and responsible individuals are allowed within the park. Handlers must be at least 18 years old. Children under 14 are not permitted in the fenced area.
Supervision: Dogs must remain within the view of their handlers at all times.
Cell Phones: Cell phone use is strongly discouraged.
Aggression Policy: Owners must remove dogs at the first sign of aggression.
Respect the Park: Do not abuse, deface, or waste anything in the park.
Liability Waiver: Users of the park do so at their own risk. By entering, you agree to waive liability and hold harmless all governing parties for any property or bodily damage, including legal fees. Handlers are responsible for any injuries caused by their dogs.
Failure to Follow Rules: Failure to abide by the rules may result in the revocation of your Sylvania Dog Park membership.
